Alpha Brothers, a company-builder accelerator led by CEO Chae Joong-kyu, was honored with the Minister of Employment and Labor’s commendation on the 26th at the Chamber of Commerce for being selected as an Outstanding Gender Equality Employer during the "2023 Employment Equality Contribution Awards."
Organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Employment Equality Contribution Awards recognize individuals and companies that have contributed to fostering gender equality and promoting work-life balance in workplaces. This year’s event, held under the theme “Workplaces of Mutual Prosperity, Sustainable Lives,” highlighted exemplary cases of building equal employment environments and cultures and honored outstanding contributors and companies.
Alpha Brothers was recognized as an exemplary company for achieving the following:
- Maintaining a female hiring rate and employment rate exceeding 50% for three consecutive years
- Increasing the proportion of women in managerial positions
- Implementing a mandatory remote work policy at least once a month and a flexible work system
- Providing parental leave exceeding legal requirements, including maternity and paternity leave, to foster a work environment that supports balancing work and family life.
The company has made continuous efforts to create an employment environment where men and women can work equally.
Previously, Alpha Brothers was certified as a Family-Friendly Company and achieved the highest SS grade for workplace innovation excellence in 2021.
